Stainless Steel Tube

Stainless Steel has inherrent characteristics that lend themselves to applications that require tubular sections:

  • Resistant to corrosion
  • Reduced oxidation
  • Resists high temperatures
  • Low maintenance costs
  • Very low risk of contamination

Various forms of stainless tube are available and can be cut-to-length service, utilising our in-house processing facilities.

Available forms are:

Ornamental stainless tube is a welded product and is therefore not suitable for anything more than minimal bending.

Typical applications include:

  • Boats - ladders, railings, awning poles
  • Decorative Fixings
  • Exhaust Systems
  • Ornamental tube is available in grades 304 and 316 and can have a brushed, dull polished or bright polished finish.

Hygienic stainless steel tube is a welded product that has had the internal weld bead removed to reduce the risk of contamination, and is more suitable for bending than Ornamental Tube.  Typical apllications are:

  • Dairy
  • Brewery
  • Food processing

Hygienic tube is available in grades 304 and 316 and can have a brushed, dull polished or bright polished finish.

Stainless Steel Handrailing Tube is a welded product and is available with an outside diameter of either 42.4mm or 48.3mm and with a wall thickness of 2mm and 2.5mm.

* Please note: our own Handrailing System is designed to work with 2mm wall thickness. *

Typical Applications are:

  • Balconies
  • Balustrading
  • Stair railing

Various infills are suitable for this product:

  • glass
  • wire rope
  • stainless steel mesh
  • stainless steel perforated sheet
  • stainless steel bar

Handrailing tube is available in grades 304 and 316 and can have a brushed, dull polished or bright polished finish.

Stainless Steel Seamless Tube has no weld and is therefore more suitable for applications that involve high pressure, for example:

  • Heat exchangers
  • Pressure Vessels
  • Chemical works

Seamless tube is available in grades 304, 316 and 321 and can have a descaled or bright annealed finish.
